Installation
The installation can be done individually, e.g. on the floor, cupboard wall, storage box, bed box wall etc.
When installing on the floor, Make sure that there are no pipes (water, electricity, etc.) under the safe where the mounting plate is installed.
Check whether the door of the safe can still open without problems at this installation location leaves. Use the mounting plate as a drilling template and make sure that you turn the plate as it is then attached to the underside of the floor. Drill 6.5mm holes. Check the floor thickness. Position the mounting plate on the underside of the floor so that the plate lies flat and the screw heads disappear into the recesses of the plate. Open the four fixing holes provided on the floor or on the rear wall of the safe and insert the screws through the mounting plate into the safe. The screw head is on the outside. Now secure the screws with the nuts inside the safe. Finished! Even if you install the safe horizontally with the door facing up, the door will not lock itself if it is accidentally closed, as the key cannot be removed when the door is open.
Security
Professional thieves break open almost any caravan in just a few minutes. Valuables are better protected against quick access in the permanently installed AL-KO safe for caravans, mobile homes and boats. The door of the stable safe is locked by two stable round bolts.
