💡 Important Note: How to find the correct toggle latch
To avoid incorrect orders and unnecessary returns, please note the manufacturer-specific marking of the mounting side:

Not oriented by the direction of travel: For toggle latches, the designation "Left" or "Right" is not equivalent to the driver or passenger side of your vehicle.

Defined by the mechanics: The side specification is determined exclusively by the design and the locking logic of the manufacturer. The decisive factor is the direction in which the lever tensions or opens – completely regardless of which sideboard the latch is mounted on.

Comparison before ordering: A selection based on the mere assumption "I need the left side for the trailer" often leads to the wrong component.
Our advice for your purchase: Please compare the locking behavior and the curvature of the lever of your old latch very closely with our product images. This is the safest way to identify the correct version.
